Ben Meier joined The Lerner Company in 2007 having three years of previous commercial retail brokerage experience in Omaha.  Coming from a successful background in retail sales and management at Scheels All Sports, along with a background in construction, Ben has been able to utilize this experience in advising both tenant and landlord clients in all aspects of the process.

Ben’s strong initiative has led to representation of both national and local clients in Tenant and Landlord work.  His advisory services have been utilized in multi-market situations, having been assigned to leasing acquisitions and dispositions in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Illinois.  His experience has included ground up development, existing center redevelopment, and new market roll-outs.  Meier's approach is that of a partnership with his clients, taking an ownership mindset toward each assignment.

Meier graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.  His professional affiliations include International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC);  ICSC Retail Chairperson for Nebraska and Iowa; and CCIM candidate.
