Steven P. Buckley, CMD
Director of Retail Properties
Steve Buckley is a native of Omaha and a graduate of Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. He began his career in 1979 as the Marketing Director of the Fremont Mall in Fremont, NE and now has over 37 years of experience in the shopping center industry. Buckley held a similar position at the Crossroads Mall in the mid-eighties guiding the property through a $50 million renovation and expansion. He then served as the Marketing Director for the Grand Opening of the Oakview Mall in Omaha in 1991.
After the opening of the Oakview Mall, Buckley was promoted to General Manager relocating to Wichita, Kansas followed by moves to Kokomo, Indiana; Muncie, Indiana; Bloomington, Illinois and Forsyth, Illinois. Buckley returned to Omaha in 2007 as the grand-opening General Manager of Shadow Lake Towne Center in Papillion, Nebraska. In 2009, Buckley transitioned to Area Manager for The Lerner Company. In 2013, he was promoted to his current role as Director of Retail Properties
Director of Commercial Properties
Jeremy is a native of LeMars, IA and came to Omaha in the Fall of 1990 to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He began working construction for a custom homebuilder in the summers and worked his way up to Superintendent of Construction and eventually owning his own construction business. In 2011, Mayrose was recruited by Gordman’s as a Manager of Facilities for Distribution and Supply Chain, then promoted to Manager of Facilities, Construction, and Procurement. He brings over 20 years of experience in construction and property management to The Lerner Company. Jeremy was responsible for managing more than 5 million square feet of property, construction management, and energy strategy exceeding $40 million at Gordmans. When not wearing a hard hat, you can find Jeremy spending time with his wife and daughter or hunting upland game when in season.
